Never left and needs some help, please

Hello All
I'm MotoEd or Eddie.
I was on back in the day.
I have 08 with 43,000 hard miles, I call them hard.
7 track days and let everyone ride her.
Still running strong, just put in the Barnett Kevlar clutch because I felt my stock clutch springs were always a little weak.
But, she's a keeper.

I need some help.

Rear shock change to the R1 with a different spring.
I bought a R1 shock and intend to do the swap.
But, I can't get the holes drilled out for less than $100 dollars down here in LA, lower Arkansas.
What I need is some body that will do them for less so tha I could afford it, even with shipping.
Can anyone help me out with getting the shock eye holes drilled out?
They tested at rockwell 54 ( I think) hardness.
My V really needs a better rear end.

Congrats on getting the most out of your Versys!
I can't help with the shock, hopefully somebody else can.
