Got me an 09 versys!!

Hi from So Dak.

I have been lurking for awhile now and pulled the trigger on a blue 09 with 500 miles and factory saddle bags. Paid 4500 for it and they delivered it 4 hours for me!

Got it on Friday afternoon, drained the oil, and rode it an hour to run a 5K on sat morning! The ride there and back was more fun than the run.

Love the bike!!! So does the better half, which is half the battle.

Thanks for all the information so far.

Wow! That's a pretty brutal way to treat a new bike.

How did it run without oil? Sorry, I couldn't help myself.

If you are like me when I run you were looking forward to finishing for the ride home. :-)

So true! The bike ride there and back home was more enjoyable than the run itself, but I'm a glutton for punishment.

Trying to work my way up to a competitive time for a half marathon. Makes me tired thinking about it. ha
