Talking New Member

Hi, I am a new member from the Midwest. I have a 2011 Versys Red, Long time rider 40+ years, I have been riding sport bikes most of my life, so this is my first "standard bike" in quite a few years.

and we hope you will love the Versys as much as most of us do.

It is much nicer for the aging body than a sports bike, but many consider it more fun - in its own way.

Although I have had Miss Jaffa (Burnt Orange 2007 Versys) for a while, I still have a lot to learn.

Thanks for the welcome

For a guy who has been ridding liter bikes for years, I am very impressed with the performance of the V! The tall Ermax screen I purchased from a forum member really makes the wind protection quite good.

Please help me for the info....

Hello there,

Im from Malaysia. Today I just went to bike shop to get full details of 2012 Versys. Planned to buy it next week.

Im really appreciated if anyone can share about this bike here. A friend of mine told me that after 6 months, will fill some vibration on the engine. is that true?

I fall in love with this bike already. Just need to gather some information before I made final decision.

Thanks a lot.

Best Regards,

There is comparatively, little, vibration from this bike for a twin. Certainly not enough to cause discomfort or distraction.

Generation 1 bikes (2007-2009) had buzzing from the front fairing at certain engine speeds however this is fixable with some foam tape applied to specific areas. I do not believe generation 2 bikes have this issue.
