Hello from St. Louis, MO

Hi Everyone- I have been stalking this forum for a couple of months now, picking up "farkle" ideas for my new Versys. I bought my '08 Versys from another member on this board, Perryd80, in November. I am 25 and this is my first motorcycle. After doing the research I couldn't think of a better first time motorcyle to suit my needs. We have had a very mild winter in St. Louis, so I have been able to get about 1200 miles on the bike so far.

Love the passion I see on this forum for the Versys... hopefully I don't go bankrupt buying add-ons for my bike

Stuff I want: New tires, engine guard, fender eliminator, new mirrors, something to make the seat for comfortable, brake cable upgrades, and the list goes on...

Super!

I went to the City Museum in St Louis in dress shoes, only to find out it was a place for climbing. My Mrs likes doing things like that, like when I went bike riding with her with clip-less pedals, only for her to take me off road.

Best,
Tony

Welcome. Farkling can get expensive so prioritizing is very important.

City Museum is my favorite place in St. Louis and I recommend to everyone that they go there while in town!

Welcome,

I'm a fellow STL rider located in Dogtown. I would recommend the great river road for a day trip if you haven't been up there already.

Quick search led me to this post, so as a new Versys owner and new STL resident I thought I would revive it.

As stated, I am new to STL. Moved here in March from Virginia by way of Korea. Had the Versys only about a month and have put about 1000 miles on it. Just rode to Memphis and back this past weekend with a great little detour of 67 on the way home. Nice windy little backroads on Route N - FYI!

Any route recommendations?
