'09 Versys 4 D Track

Just picked up an '09 Versys, 3800 miles, I plan using for primarily for the track. Looking for recommended top five (5) track mods, suspension, slip-ons, tires, gears, brakes, top-end... Stock form the bike is a kick in the ass!
Thanks for the feed back!

Garage
I would have thought a more "sport" oriented bike would make a better track bike. IE SV650, Ninja 500 or 650, etc.

Take off the gas cap and slide a Gsxr 750 under it.

Remove the front brakes and get a Steel Shoe. We are talking Dirt Track, right?

Taken my orange thunder from down under on 4 tracks days so far, these are not mods just my set up,I set suspension up a lot harder than i would normally have on road, move front brake lever well froward so i have to roll totally off throttle before braking, take it on a tight track and have fun passing Gixers, R1's etc of riders that never use the power of those beasts but of course they will pass you on the straight, believe it or not my time would not be much different if i was riding my Ninja 1000 in my opinion because i can scoot around hair pins or sharper bends quicker on my nimble V
