New member from Colombia

Greetings from Colombia!

I´ve been readings all sort of posts in the forums and have found them very informative. Thanks!

I will be getting my new 2007 Versys in the next few days (17k kms/ 11k mi), black w/verys saddle bags. I´m very excited and eager to learn from you guys.

First question, i´ll have to change tires soon, ¿is it adviceable to use ¨slime¨? ¿has anyone used it?

Cheers,
Papo

Welcome, enjoy your new ride.
I wouldn't use slime in a motorcycle tire.

Papo,

Have used slime before.

However i would say Ride-On is a better product as a tire sealant plus balancing the tire. (http://www.ride-on.com/motorcycle-formula-mot.html). A tire sealant would be good insurance if the roads are not in good condition.
