Versys For The Track

Looking to at a '08 or '09 for Track Days. Appreciate most suggestions and comments.

I go to the local track about once a month, its a blast. the front end feels a little soft and it took a while to get used to, a power commander is required as the bike has no power above 9 thou in stock form, late braking is where its at and its easy to scrape footpegs. Get some decent rubber, i use bt014 dual compound. The clutch will take a hammering and the brakes fade so sort those things.

I prefer my Suzuki SV650 for a track bike. Not saying that the Versys wouldn't be a blast, but the SV650 is a beast on tracks like Barber and Lil Talladega. Just add plastics, safety wire, and a little suspension tuning.
