Future V Owner

Hi all.

After riding a few different bikes and doing lots of research, I have decided the Versys is the bike for me.

Now all I need to do is sell my DRZ and away I go!

I look forward to reading about your modifications.

Peter

I forgot to mention that I am in Canada, so the winter is on its way. I will have lots of time to read through the forum!

My Husband just sold his DRZ400SM and my Super Sherpa to the same guy! That was convenient. We had the money to both get used bikes. My husband bought a 1988 BMW K75 w/ 48,000 miles and I got a 2008 Versys w/ 6,000 miles. We are very happy and Arizona is beginning it's perfect riding weather.

Good luck with selling and buying.

Claypgn - did I pass the two of you going north on Ellsworth just after the Hunt Hwy 'runs into' Ellsworth, just north of the San Tan Flats Steakhouse a few days ago (say - Thursday or Friday)? I'm on another red '08 w/ soft bags, and gave you a as I passed to your right. If so - NICE seeing you!

Nope, it wasn't us. We live 70 miles North of Elliott & I-10 (that's where we picked the bike up from). If you should find yourself in my neck of the woods - let us know and we'll take you for the best hamburger in AZ.

I had a new 2008 DRZ400SM which was stolen with 1600 kms on it.
It was fun but the Versys gives me the extra power and range that I longed for with the DRZ.
Love the V and I'm sure you will too. Good luck
