New member in NW FL over 800 miles so far

Greetings,

I am thrilled with my new '09, what a great ride. I've been getting in some great break in miles on my local State and County roads, lots of hills and curves to vary the RPM range. Looking forward to running down the West Coast of FL this spring.

Welcome from one new owner to another!

Hills and curves in FL?! I thought it was all flat. Congrats on living in the curvy part!

Welcome to the Versys forum! The break-in period for me was the hardest part. It gets a lot more fun after that.

US19 south until you get into Crystal River and then over toward US301 south is better than staying on US19. Too many Snowbirds for the next 4 or 5 months.

Thanks for the tip Thumper. I definitely hope to go as far as Cedar Key and to check out some of the other islands on the way. I would love to take a trip from the Alabama line down to Key West .
