New Versys rider in NJ

Well, I took my new bike out for my first 2 hour ride today.
First opinion: The bike rides great here in the Somerset Hills area...BUT
...the seat has to go!
I noticed I am not the first one with the 'sliding forward" problem.
I will be checking these threads for a cheap solution before spending big bucks on aftermarket seats.

have never the problem with the seat myself but may also be my riding style which mostly have the balls of my feet on the pegs, even on long straights

I noticed that I would slide forward as well when I bought my Versys. All by itself that problem went away!

Seriously, I guess my body adapted without me trying or possibly the glossy film wore off the seat making it stick better. Give it some time.

WOW ... talk about coincidence.

I bought my Versys this past Saturday too!

Brand spanking new. And I'm in NJ as well ...
