New Guy on the block

Hello I am a soon to be (I hope) Versys owner. I am getting the impression that these bikes are tough to sell , am I right? In any case I like the bike and intend to buy one. I have found a used orange 07 for 5200 with 15000 km, a new maroon 2011 for 7290 and a new 2010 black for 6700 any comments about these prices and also about the bike"s saleability. I am in Ontario Canada.

Those prices on the new ones are good. I'm not sure about the '07 there aren't usually a lot for sale here anyways. The Kawi list price on the 2011 started off this year at 8999.00 and then dropped to 8499.00 around April (of course just after I bought mine, I paid over 8 but not list). One dealer here now has the new 11's at 7999.00.
It is definitely a smaller market but I think it is because a lot of people aren't aware of the bike and Kawi doesn't seem to flaunt it but to me it is the best, most fun bike to ride I've owned out of several.
Resale value or not it is a bargain for any of those prices you've mentioned.

Homer7, I'd likely go for the discounted '10 model myself.
Price looks very good. It's about 700 less than what I paid for my '09 in 2010.
1,500 bucks more for new over the '07 would, I think, be a better choice.
Funds permitting, of course.
New is always nicer/better imho.
