Greetings from a new 2011 Versys owner.

Hello all,

I'm hoping that my post here will allow me to post in other areas.

I'm loving my 2011 Versys. As others have found, the seat forces us riders into the gas tank. I've come up with a fairly simple modification that seems to have solved this problem WITHOUT raising the front of the seat.

I used to get the feeling of sliding into the tank when I first bought it. It went away on its own. Either I am still sliding and have gotten used to it or my body has adapted and my arms and legs are keeping me from sliding. Maybe since the seat has gotten some use, it may not have the same slickness as it did new.
