Howdy from Colorado!

Well, the stars aligned and I was able to sell my 2005 DR650 on Friday, and buy a 2009 Versys on Saturday!!!

I've gotten to the point where I'm doing very little dirt riding and wanted fuel injection, twin cylinders, and the ability to carry my wife on the back from time to time. After debating between a V-Strom and a Versys, I chose the Versys!

To christen the V, my wife and I saddled up and took a ride to the top of Trail Ridge Parkway in Rocky Mountain National Park (along with 10,000 other people who took advantage of a beautiful Sunday.

Thanks to all of you for helping me make up my mind.

Good eye! It is lowered. I haven't decided if I'm going to keep it that way. My immediate impression is that the suspension is very stiff. Time to back off the preload, I noticed that the rear shock is on the 2nd highest preload setting.

First thing is to get a top case....

Welcome the the CO Versys family! Good call on the Versys. I had a V-Strom and I loved it, but the Versys has a much quicker turn in and a leaner look. I love the green, but couldn't pass up the deal I got on my virtually new red 08. I just wrapped up 10k in my first year with my Versys!

What part of CO? I'm in the SE corner of Denver metro.

Hope to see you on some rides soon!

Congrats on the Versys. I know from experience you made the right choice!! Way more fun to ride than the 'Strom
