Newbe from Arizona

Greetings from Mesa Arizona. Just got my new versys, love it!!! However, the 114 degree heat here in Arizona made for a brutal first ride. It will be some early morning rides till things start cooling down in October. I'm smiling from ear to ear
I have been coveting a versys for over 2 years now. Wahooo!!! got it!!

Welcome. Good thread going around recently about riding in heat. I commute 5 days a week and hydration vest makes it tolerable along with other tips from that thread. Seems to be a resonable number of V riders in the area. We should get together, although I'm too lazy to organize it.

Hello and welcome. I highly recommend one of these for Arizona (and Texas).

Oh, so many nice roads not too far from you. Tortilla Flats, Salt River Canyon, Strawberry, Alpine, Jerome ... so many nice rides.

Congrats and enjoy.

Yah - wear out your chicken strips on 88 to Tortilla Flats BEFORE all the snowbirds arrive.
