Hi, guys!

I'm from Brazil.
I just pick a used 2010 Versys with only 500km.
I live in Recife - Pernambuco, in the Northeast of Brazil.

I took the bike last week in Aracaju - Sergipe, and I did a nice trip home (~500km).

Last Friday was done the 1000km maintenance. At Saturday, I filled the tank and when a got home, I noticed that it was showing just one bar in the fuel indicator. I opened the tank and confirmed that it was full.
I read that the same problem occurred in a bike used for a Brazilian magazine that tested this model.

Anyone have a similar problem?

Regards.

Gustavo Erivan

PS: sorry about my english.

Welcome, we have another Gustavo on this forum, what are the chances?

You'll have no worries with your new V, I have 30k hard miles on mine and other than a headlight bulb never had any problems. Lube the chain every 300miles or so and change the oil 3 to 5 k miles.

Thank you, guys.

I just leave the bike in Kawasaki store, here in Recife.

Any news, I'll let you know.

Thanks.

The problem is the fuel level sensor. The 2010-2011 Service Manual shows that the Brazilian model is different.
The Kawasaki dealer ask for a new sensor using the warranty.
Until the sensor arrives, I'm using the TRIP A meter to know, more or less, how much fuel I have.
