Hello from Gaithersburg, Maryland

I couldn't post the last few times I tried, so I will see if this works. Now that it worked, I don't have a Versys yet, but looking. The last time I rode was many years ago and I had a Kawasaki Ninja 600. I am now getting back into it again.

I feel for you bro.. I sleep on the train most mornings but I guess that is about to change once I mount a versys.

I have never seen one up close, but would hope to ride one before the summer is out. Do you know a Kawasaki dealer that may have one for me to test ride?

I am also seeing a few 2009 new models for about a grand more than 2009 models with a few miles (500 - 1500 miles), I am wondering if I should go for a new one of a used bike.

Now I gotta figure out how to create a new thread in the other branches of the forum. I get "permission denied" everytime I try to post something there.

Thanks.

The only dealer who had a 2011 in stock was Twigg Cycles in Hagerstown and I snatched it up during their sale over the 4th of July weekend .

There are few places locally in VA that have some. If they won't let you test drive one I wouldn't buy one from their dealer. There are some dealers in VA (50 mile radius from Rockville) that have some in stock I do believe.

Here is what mine looks like, only a couple photos, but should give you an idea.

The V is a bike that once you ride it, you wanna own it. So bring ready cash or Credit card or cheques to the dealership on the day of your visit. You can't go wrong with the V. Welcome, BTW.

I don't have any cheques, only checks but I will bring those. I am ready to buy.

There were quite a few last week, but all of a sudden, I don't see many for sale at all. Hopefully the dealer will let me test ride first.. Now where did I put that helmet 20 years ago.. hmmmm....
