Howdy From South Carolina...

I was riding my Valkyrie in the North Carolina mountains the
other day, on some tight roads, I was having too much fun...

Then I ran into these guys, they professed to be having too much
fun as well...

I was having a hard time getting them off my mind... so I started studying
up on them. Valkyries have something special built right into them,
you can't add it later... now I'm starting to get the feeling that these
Versys things might have special built into them too...

It was nice meeting you and yes we had a great time. I also had a 98 Valkyrie and for a crusier it was awesome. The Versys is the best bike for me and the type of riding that I do. 40,000 miles and still going strong. I will post pictures and info about the weekend.

Hey!... I was hoping one of y'all would be on here

If I was to get a Versys, I fear it would have to only be a red one like
yours, with those OEM red hard bags... I don't know what it is about red
baggers, I think it is in my blood...

So I go looking at used red ones, if it looks good (like yours does) then 40K
or so is no reason to shy away from it...

I'll see if my wife can show me your pictures, I'm not on spacebook

The bags are Givi bags just sold by Kawasaki. You can buy 08s in the 3000 range. They are a bargain. Try this link to my website.

Thanks for the link! Is yours the one with the red inserts in the bags?
I wish I had taken a good side picture of it...

It turned out great because it was not far from hwy 80 and none of us had ever been on it before. It was such a fun road. Tight corners around every bend.

The Dragon has a reputation, but we are blessed with many (almost
empty) roads that are just as good. 80 is certainly one such road

Yes it is. The Versys was made for roads like hwy 80 ,the tighter the better. After all the Versys is just a big motard. Deals Gap is way over rated ,there are so many better roads in the tri-state area.
