Greetings from Bavaria!

I followed some threads just reading, but after 9 months I thought I'll dare and write something myself.

1st of all: Great, great board!

Rode (and still ride) some bikes. Mostly 2strokes. A Honda XT 500 was the only 4stroke I had so far. The 2010 Versys ("chrome won't bring you home - matt black will bring you back") is my first "new" bike. And it seems it's one of the best I've ever had: agile, torquey (without cutting revs), good for touring, not too heavy, comfortable and equipped with a quite reliable engine (as it seems). Still it's not too functional, too clinical despite all the plastic parts: Some screaming, some buzz, some rattle, some fun.

Windy, solve that with a new windscreen or, make some extension brackets.
Buzz, maybe want to think about a 44t or 43t rear sprocket. THat will take some of the buzz away.
Hey share some pics of Bavaria! I was in your area 20 years ago, beautiful area.

Your wish is my command: Walchensee (it's at the end of a famous former race track used in the literally "roaring" 20ies and 30ies, the Kesselbergstraße) Now racing there is strictly forbidden ...
