On the hunt for a Versys

Hello,

I'm new to the Versys forum, however I've yet to find one! I was ready to buy a few times, but they've all slipped through my fingers so far. I've owned quite a few bikes though (Honda Hawk GT, ZX7R, ZX9R, Triumph Daytona 955, Honda Superhawk, VFR750, VFR800fi, VFR800, Buell XB12R, Buell XB9SX, Harley XR1200), and my wife used to ride a 650R, so we're looking forward to finding the right Versys soon. I'm located in Columbus, OH.

Nice to meet you all!

Welcome! I too have had more bikes than I can remember over the years. My Versys is the keeper of them all. Good luck with your search.

Welcome, I'm in Columbus also. I might be selling my 09 as I don't have time to ride it.

Google can be very helpful. Sign up for Google alerts and get an email every day with new listings or just do a Google search. Lot's of dealers have 09's at very discounted prices.
Alternatively try a search like:

"site:craigslist.com versys"

the site:craiglist.com in the search limits the results to craigslist.com. The same Google site limited search works well with this site works too.

also check out the Google product search page

Twarner, let me know what you decide. I don't have time to ride either, but I feel empty without a bike in the garage.

Mid Ohio Suzuki Honda has a 2009 Green unit on the floor for 6500. This dealer is in Mt. Vernon ohio just north of you. Also McCune cycle world in Mansfield where I am located has a new left over 08 red in stock. This is where I purchased mine a few months ago and was treated well. Sticker is 5999.00. I got my 09 for 6200 otd. Columbus to Mansfield is around a hour. Give them a call. You will love the Versys and will find time to ride.

Give me a few days to ponder and we can talk this weekend.
