New to the forum

Hey Everyone. Just joined the forum today after lurking for a week or so. Really happy to have found this place. Heaps of good info! Sold my monster bout a month ago and seriously looking to get a Versys some time soon. I considered the Strom 650 and the TDM 900 against the V, but got sold on the V's price tag and looks.

Thanks man! I'm sure I'm gonna love every moment too!

I'm interested in comfort and performance.

For more comfort, I'm thinking better screen, better seat, vibration reduction, bar risers, better mirrors etc

For more performance, I'm thinking better tires, lighter sprockets, aftermarket exhaust etc

Do you have any useful threads I should go through while I'm waiting for 48 hours to be able to post in other sections?

That's what I read everywhere, even on Wee Strom forums! Can't wait!

Not that I don't like the Wee. I've always loved V2 engine torque and sound.
My last bike was an air cooled Ducati Monster. The L twins have lots of torque and amazing sound.
But, I decided I wanted a bike with an upright position but still sporty enough to rip thru twisties.
Unfortunately, the Multistrada is out of my budget for now, so that's when I landed on the Versys.
