New Versys...old rider

Just got an unsold '09 from the dealer.

A demo ride in 2010 sold me on the Versys as it rode so much like Hypermotard with more comfort, better fit and not having another Ducati in the garage, one is enough for my wallet

I also suffer from Perpetual Tinkeritis

On order:
Muzzy Full System
PC V
Lowering Link & flatfoot
Givi Slimline cafe hardbags
Still shopping/debating whether to just swap filters, or delete the airbox and run pods.

on wish list:
Radial brake adaptor kit
Yana Shiki rotors
Braided Brake Lines
Race Tech springs
Trailtech GPS gauge set

Lots and Lots of miles

The combination of the E21 bags and the E36 topcase (available separately) make the smallest three-case Givi Monokey combination, which is ideal for discreet applications.

Of course, these cases are equipped with the same Monokey system that allows the bags to be opened, closed, locked, and removed with only one key. The cases lock both closed and to the rack. These cases are also available in a color-matched gloss finish (sold separately) which complements sport bikes or cruisers alike. Sold in pairs with both a right and left case. Compatible with Givi, Five Stars, and SW-Motech luggage racks. 22 liter capacity per bag.

External Dimensions: 16.5"L x 7.5"W x 13.5"D (420 x 196 x 348 mm) each.

Capacity: 21 liters.

Max. load: 11 lbs/case
Okay, so they aren't called "slimline cafe bags" but that was how they were described to me when I saw them on another Versys and the shop I use found them and ordered them

IMHO avoid pod filters at all costs. I've never known a rider who installed them who did not latter regret having installed them. Mostly due to a marked decrease in performance and reliability.
