Smile Hi! from a Newbee in Canada

Hi Everyone,

I`m from the Gatineau/Ottawa area in Canada.

Anyone from my area, my country, my continent, my planet, my solar system, my Universe ?

Anyone interested for a group ride around here?

I bought a couple weeks ago my third street bike(First one, 1985 Ninja 600 back in 89 when I was a young buck, Last year, a DRZ400SM 2006)

This year: A 2009 Gray Versys with only 2800km and I'm very pleased with it!!! What a feeling!

Take a look at it here: http://www.kawasakiversys.com/forums...hp?albumid=334

What about you and yours ?

LeFrere

Hey LeFrere. Welcome aboard! I'm also in the Ottawa area (Barrhaven) with a 2008 Red V. While the kids' sports schedule over the summer is going to wreak havoc with my free time, I might be able to squeeze in a group ride after the end of May.

She looks like a keeper. What top case in on that (E470, maybe)?

Cheers,
Dave C

Hi DaveC,

I'm not even sure about the model of the top case. It came with the bike and I just didn`t really stop at the model. As long my helmet was fitting in there.. All ok

Do you know if there`s many people from the area with a V ?

lefrere I am from your planet, just on the other side but would love to go for a ride but would probably wear out a couple of sets of tyres getting there

Welcome! I think the gray is one of the nicest colors they made this bike in.

Moving back to the Ottawa area in the next few months.

There are a few, although I've only met one (she works at the same govt. dept I do). I've seen a few others around, so I know they are out there...

Hey Sprocket, come on up. I think a head-to-head comparison of the colour is in order, as we all know that RED is the best colour.

Hi LeFrere, Welcome to Bike Havan, that is a nice rig you have, and all the essential xtra's too, the lowering kit and the Gel seat,I have a gell seat and find it abit hard, if you are around 5.8ft height you may lower the foot rests for better knee comfort.

Good riding for the Summer,we in NZ are just going into Winter.
Take care
Regards Jim

Amuse toi bien

Hi and welcome to forum. I know you'll love the Versys, just as we all do. I have an Orange 2007 and if your ever in the 1000 Islands area, we could very well hook up for a ride. According to the local Kawasaki dealer here in Kingston, he sells a few Versys every year, but I rarely see one on the road.

Salut,

Maurice

Hello Lefrere, congratulations on the new (to you) bike. A meet-up would be great. Anyone want to organize it?

DaveC,

To answer your question, the top case is a E370 with brake lights
