I have a new Versys-X 300 with ABS.
I replaced the front sprocket with a 15 tooth so now the gearing is 15/46.
I have had no issues with engine warning lights or gear indicator not working.
All appears as normal and the speed at 100km/hr feels no different than before (haven't hooked a gps up yet).
Is it because I only changed the gearing slightly that it hasn't affected anything.
If I were to change the front to 16 tooth or rear to 42, would I start to get these issues everyone is having.
I want to change the gearing again as its reving at 7000rpm at 100km/hr and 6500rpm at 100km/hr would be more ideal for the type of riding I do (long distance)
