getting to grips with the Versys650

Hi
Bought this bike a couple of months ago as a middle weight option when riding the small mountain roads of Wales. Really impressed with the punchy motor and quick progess around the lanes. the bike is really comfortable and after 8 hours in the saddle felt great. Reading the very helpful postings on suspension settings and looking to have a play about over the next few days to tweak the ride. So much fun for so little money on this 2009 gem.

Welcome from Texas, USA. Disclaimer: I'd rather be in Wales.

Must be a fun place to ride. My sister lives in Wales - shame it's so hard to just pack a bike along coming from the US!!

Clean air filter, fresh plugs, and the throttle body vacuum line fix helped my 2009 run a lot better. Got the sag set and with minimal additional tweaks suspension is excellent for this class of bike.

Have fun!
