Bought a 2009 Versys last week and put a 1000 miles on it already!

Love this new bike - 2009 with 6020 miles. Bought it in SC. First ride was coming home 2 hours from picking it up, and just put another 1000 miles on it in one week riding locally.
Very interested in finding out if the cheap Chinese cross bars on ebay make a difference to handle bar and mirror vibration? Vibration isn't bad but looking to improve it a little for a few $.

Cross bar do help in reducing hand bar vibration but not completely.

Vibration on the Versys is due to the engine configuration.

Welcome From Canada

to the forum, sometimes the addition of crash bars or other devices increases vibration on the bars, one common thing to look at is the engine mount , foot brake side, many added spacers , on my 07 I added a 1/8 washer. May need to do a search to get the exact info of what I am talking about.

Love South Carolina... Have lived in Yemassee,Dorchester,Harleyville,Summerville and Moncks Corner. I put on the Motowerk Anti-Vibe bar risers and that knocked out most of the vibrations. I also got these cheap eBay Chinese mirrors and they were so much better that the stock mirrors...10MM A pair rear view mirrors for KAWASAKI Z750R W800 VERSYS 650 KLE65 | eBay

Thank you good info, and nice video too!
I spent some time on aliexpress dot com last night looking at gear - seems like there's some great deals - and ebay looking at mirrors...
