Hello from London UK

Hi All

I'm a new-ish Versys 650 owner. Been riding for 4 years, passed my motorcycle test last November, bought myself a Versys 650 in February and promptly fell off breaking my elbow! Doh! So I've just started riding again after 3 months off.

Thought I'd sign up and say hello and take advantage of all the knowledge I'm sure you guys have here!

Cheers from The Colonies! I spent 1982-1985 in East Anglia courtesy of Uncle Sam, largely surrounded by sheep. :^) Developed a bad habit of darts and casked ale.

To tag along with Doug's reply, welcome aboard from another one who spent some time in East Anglia a few years earlier, from 1968 thru 1972 at RAF Mildenhall, courtesy of the USAF. Actually I suppose it was many, many years ago. When the time came to return to the US they had to drag me, kicking and screaming, to the aircraft. Was never very good at darts, but casked ale and I got along just fine.

Oh, and don't feel too badly about falling off and breaking bones. Many years ago I fell of my 1957 Harley Sportster flathead twin (it was rubbish but I was a poor college student) and accordion-pleated my left arm - five breaks and two months in assorted plaster casts. That was the last Harley I ever owned. But, back to the point, welcome and try not to fall off again - once is generally enough.
