Welcome aboard. Depending on how your backside feels after riding for an hour or two, you might want to consider an alternative saddle. Lots of owners believe the stock saddle is extremely uncomfortable. Which one should you get? There are almost as many answers are there are members (not really, but it might be close). My Versys had a Corbin installed when I bought it and, for me, it's entirely acceptable. There are others who really dislike the Corbin and will suggest their favorite saddles. It can be expensive finding the perfect one so save your pennies!

Additionally, I'm inseam challenged and don't like tip-toe balancing so I invested in the Moto Werk lowering block (rear suspension) combined with the recommended "move the front forks up" modification, and it makes the machine much more comfortable for me. Regardless of what you're considering, be patient, and you'll receive all sorts of suggestions on how to spend your funds.

And I can't prove it beyond a doubt, but I hear rumor that Kawasaki offers an OEM snow plow attachment for Canadian owners.

Thanks for the welcome and recommendations! Currently I don't have any problems in terms of seat comfort. That being said, I haven't been any kind of distance yet as I've only had the bike a month. It's been quite difficult to get out due to the sporadic snow, Should've bought the snow plow attachment!

I was thinking about getting maybe a new windshield to help with any highway buffeting, maybe some barkbusters too. Definitely going to need another job at this rate....

Welcome!

I haven't been active on this forum in a while. Thought I'd jump back on to say hello.

I have a 2012 650. I got an aftermarket windscreen that made a big difference in drag on my helmet/head.
