New toy

Greetings to all. I took possession of a 2015 Candy Lime Green Versys 650 LT a little over a week ago. It was still crated so after I added my list of goodies like heated grips, accessory outlet, top case, center stand and gear indicator and waited two weeks for parts to arrive, I finally got to ride it. I traded in two bikes one of which was a 2012 Ninja 650, so I figured I'd like this bike and I do. I've added frame sliders and a Givi windscreen (buffeting was really bad with the stock) and I am really beginning to love this thing. I have more items to add, so still a few changes to come.

Welcome From Canada

to the forum, and FYI the farkles never end, just make sure that months later when you order more , you explain it is safety stuff making you or the bike more visible just remember, even the 12 volt outlet is important, that way you can charge your phone and call and let someone special know your going to be late, due to a bunch of slow drivers / car accidents, good thing you spent that money on those farkles** okay you get the drift

a .05$ mod...

For about a nickel you can do a 'nice little' mod - the pop-rivets that hold the front-brake lines to your front fender can be made to "disappear" w/ just a 'dab' of black paint to each one....

I think it ADDS to the look.

Nice bike. It's funny how we all seem to notice certain things or have likes or dislikes when it comes to our bikes. I had not even noticed or paid attention to the pop-rivets on the brake lines. I guess that's why I have already done 6-8 mods to my bike in the first month.

Beautiful bike. I have the same bike minus the top rack. I am planning on going cross country and am considering one... and I love the looks of the stock rack

Congrats! You bought the right bike -- you gotta love that Kawasaki green! I have one just like yours but without the top box, and I added highway pegs, which I love.
