Smile Newbie needs advice

Hye bros,

While you guys enjoying with your bikes, hope you don't mind to lend some advise for me. I'm using ER6F for a year now. The chain is making noise and I suppose its time to replace. I observe some bending on the chain. Please advise where can I get DID (made in Japan) here in Malaysia? If possible in the northern region. Any suggestion how to keep it long lasting? Thank you in advance.

I would say any reputable mail order motorcycle parts company should have what you need. Have you tried Google for local parts suppliers? I KNOW there are a ton of Versys running around your country. I've even seen Versys groups on the interwebs... As far as longevity, keep it clean and lubed with proper adjustment. And don't trust the marks on the swingarm, measure yourself for proper alignment.

Welcome From Canada

to the forum, once your chain fails, it is important to check your sprockets, if it is just seized links on a low mileage, you may get by with replacing just the chain.Lubing is a long subject.
