Howdy!

Hi there!

I currently have a Ducati Monster 821 that I commute and do some mid range touring on.

I'd like something a bit more touring appropriate - still keeping the Monster though - and am very intrigued by the Versys.

Hoping to get all the info I can before I make my decision.

Thanks!

That's the one! Just make sure you have at least a 32" inseam or want to spend $ to lower the bike/seat in one way or another. Me, I have a 32" inseam, and I just land on one flat foot. I'm too cheap to do anything to lower it :-)

Yep, I am planning on both the lowering kit and possibly a lower seat too (29" inseam). Just need to find the right bike...

I just bought a 2015 650 LT and love it. Perfect for my size. Plenty of power and rock solid reliability. Plus you can get into one for a bargain as I did. I just lowered mine and have a few tricks to make it even easier and better. Dang I should have been an engineer but I suck at math! You are definitely looking at the right bike. Let me know if you have any questions.
