New V-rider checking in!
Hello fellow V-riders!
For a little over two months I'm the new owner of a 2016 Versys 650.
Starting my motorcycling career 4,5 years ago on the naked and smaller ER-6n, time finally arrived for a new bike to fit my 6'4" posture better. The look of the new 2015 released Versys has been burnt onto my retina and never cut me loose. I tried looking at other bikes and be objective about it, but a testride at my local dealer on the Versys 650 made up my mind.
A little over two months and 7500km in the realtionship I've learned that the bike has it's flaws. Mostly shown in small things as a rattle or a buzz. But I still love this bike for it's wide range of use and the confidence it gives me in riding it.
About my bike so far:
2016 Versys 650 in matte candy orange,
"Tourer +"-pack installed,
Kawasaki frame sliders,
Dunlop Roadsmart 3 tires,
SW-motech sidestand widener,
Vinyl wrapped carbon tank.
Photos were taken on our most recent trip to Switzerland where we rode most of the paved passes in the Suisse alps.
From now on I'll be lurking around for tips, tricks and helpfull advice.
