New Member mid Atlantic area

Just purchased a 2015 650 LT. I ordered Hepco Becker crash bars, a Fenda Extenda and a Ermax hugger so far. Probably going to order some stuff from Moto Werk this coming week and I want to replace the seat ASAP. I doesn't appear to be a lot of choices out there, which is disappointing. I've looked at Corwin, Sergent and Seat Concepts and none of them tell you that they will get rid of the forward slope. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

First off, congrats on buying a fine bike. Mine is a Gen 1 and my Corbin saddle does away with the dreaded forward slope. And it suits my backside well although there are those who say it's too firm.

Thanks Arion. I like the looks of the Corbin too. I don't plan on doing any 2 up riding so that simplifies my needs. I'll probably call Corbin and Sergent this week and make my final decision, but it's good to get feedback from people like you that can vouch for them. I appreciate it. Good weather is just a few weeks away and I'm tring to be ready by then.

Congrats on the new bike. My 2012 Aussie model didn't have "the dreaded forward slope". Must be an American thing.

I had 7 seats on my Versys. The Seat Concepts gets rid of the forward slope and is the least expensive option. I would get the Seat Concepts again if i bought another Versys. 2nd option if i did all long range rides i would go with the Russell Day-Long.

Enjoy the new bike. Another seat option is having the forward slope cut out by an upholstery shop if you have one nearby. I had my slope cut out for $50 and it made a world of difference. Just another option if you are interested.

You can get rid of the forward slope for about $2. Make a spacer, add longer bolts and some washers....

Raised my seats (on an '08, an '09, and a '15) w/ OVER 100,000 miles amongst them, by 9/16"....

and MANY long rides.

I agree with the SeatConcept. Until it arrives you can go with Fast Eddies adjustment. It works, but I like the SC much better.
