And now with bags!

So I bought the bike in the second week of April, took delivery in the last week of may and FINALLY got the parts to turn my LT into an actual LT in the third week of August. After all the lies and evasions I will never set foot in that dealership again.

Sounds like Plaza Cycle in West Valley, Utah. The crooks were trying to sell a versys 1k without all the accessories. I told them that the V1k only comes with bags and hand guards. They swore up and down that it did not. They then told me the bike was $14,500 before tax title license without the bags and hand guards. They told me the V650LT was about $11,000 before tax title license. I told them what a crock that was and that I could get the bike for less than $9,000 at another local dealership. They only said that sounds like a good deal and I should buy it at the other place then. So I bought the bike (at the other place) and let them know what jack asses they were in losing that sale.

I stopped by that place (Plaza Cycle) a month ago and the same V1k was sitting there with the same ridiculous price tag on it. Seems like a terrible business plan to carry the cost of the machines month over month in hopes of selling a machine WAY over priced to cover your costs. Or am I wrong? The other dealership has moved at least 6 of each bike in the last 3 months. I've seen every configuration of both machines and couldn't be happier with my purchase from South Valley Motorsports. They also have a better parts department then I have ever dealt with.
