Left Monday morning as the sky was beautiful and hot as usual.
Destination-Had Yai, Songkhla Thailand.
Distance-330km on way. Total 660km.
Morning sky-good hot day for ride

A good welcoming sign-stop and payed my respect. Sadou Thailand

Rubber plantions- World Biggest producer of Natural Rubber

Night Life in Had Yai
Famous for 3 things-Massage, pretty girls and drinking/nightclub
Was on the forum at Hotel-opposite hair salon girls were calling for Hair wash

My favorite joint-beer with life western songs.

Hotel Lobby-Cheap rate in Thailand-USD 50 per night

Had Yai city.

Only problem was the constant error on the speed between the ODO and Garmin-10km difference. Was a good experience as this was my first Internation sole ride.

Looks like a great trip! Have things pretty much fully calmed down there and life is back to normal?

You certainly lead an interesting life. Green with envy!

Life is pretty normal in this small city. Have been going on work for the last 5 years, only this time rode all the way.
Bangkok is back to normal except for the burned out buildings and a few in prison.

Thailand also is one of the world 10 best ride's-check this out:-

http://www.gt-rider.com/thailand-mot...m-t134-50.html

This loop has got 1884 conners and uphill/downhill all that you can ask for.
On the drawing board for next year-hope it works out

Best month will be March with good weather, as we dont want to do 1884 conners on a wet surface. MHS loop has a conner every 200meters or so and most on hills and mountains.

But you can do it anytimes, because when it rains it will be for an hour or so, then you ride again. Final date will have to discuss with the gang-Stlee29 & Myred.
Will keep you informed.

I'll be in Thailand again for a few months come August. I often ride a scooter about town but that's as close as I come to my V while I'm away! From memory big bike gear is quite expensive there...
