Going To Big Bear This Sunday

If you've never been there you should go one day.

Ain't been, but it looks like fun.

Rode over to Lake Tahoe from Fort Bragg. The roads outta FB were the best I experienced in Cali. I really like that area. Most of Cali is way too crowded for me, but the northern end is just right.

Anyway, Tahoe is another of Calis pretty lakes.

Still a lot of snow up that way even into June though.

I have a buddy that has a cabin at Big Bear when he goes with us we grab some food on the way up and eat at his place. The guy i'm going with this weekend wants for us to take our girls and go to Tahoe here in the near future. Never been there but really want to go.

If you get a chance to go to Lake Tahoe and can spend a few days in the area, you'll be rewarded with some of the most awesome roads and scenery to be found anywhere in the US. I'm thinking of going up that way for a few days when I go back out to CA in June.

If you guys are on a budget, roll down the mountain on the east side of Lake Tahoe and into Carson City Nevada. It seems like a different world down there. Just a sleepy, little desert gambling town, but a decent enough place to get a bed and shower. Up on Tahoe, I don't know if you'll find a low rent district.

I wish we would have spent a little more time there. On the southside of the lake they have clubs with formerly popular talent. Kinda like Vegas or Branson.

The other pics were taken from the west side of the lake. Here's one taken from the east side.
