Pics of night life in Kota Bharu.

If you love variety of foods, you will not be disappointed of the abundant mouth watering goodies here. We bought a bit of everything and had a feast.
Lucky we had a long walk back to the hotel.

BBQ chicken.

Glutinous rice...

G'Day Guys/Gals,

It has been very hot and humid so far. However it is still better than to have it wet.

Left Kota Bharu in the morning

Kuala Trengganu floating mosque

Stop for some roadside goodies and drinks. The heat is scorching and humid.
I was sweat like a pig under the Joe rocket ballistic 7.0 suit.

Roadside scenery

The South China Sea

A beautiful mosque beside the sea

The strong breeze was a nice change

In Chukai town (border state town)

The 3rd day started cool and damp. It drizzled a bit but not for long.
The skies remained overcast but weather was cool for the day. It sure was a pleasant change.

Route was Kuantan-Kulai- Tanjung Piai-Kukup. Distance was 420 km.
Best roads so far. Not much traffic and the roads scenery was beautiful.

Rows and rows of oil palm trees. Note the bunker used in WW2.

Took a break along the sea side. Behing is Tioman island.

Day 4, we covered 300 km. Route took us to Port Dickson passing through Melaka. Weather was overcast with chances for a shower than never came.

Grandpa Ron, i think everything went well. IMHO, the most wonderful time was sitting down sipping coffee after dinner taking about the day's events and past life experiences. Lasting genuine friendship forged from the love of biking and touring the unknown.

Red Herring, PM us if you ever get the chance to come on ever.

A beautiful Chinese temple along the way

Arrived in Melaka. More info on Melaka : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malacca

The walk on the beach was refreshing

We went shopping for anything interesting at the roadside bazaars

Day 4 ended with bikes ready for the home leg back. Myred will head home in Kuala Lumpur. Fastoman and me will head north. Fastoman will divert to Ipoh and will reach home with a smile on my face in Penang.

Hi V gang Malaysia, Would be keen to go with you guys next time you plan a big ride, maybe if the unrest settles down in Thailand that could be a good trip in the future. Maybe you could PM me sometime on bike hire charges when you get home, still a bit concerned when you guys say your hot, i would be cooked alive me thinks!!!

Agree with you Steven that part of the fun is eating and good fellowship with other riders on a trip like that, a good chance to get to know people

Last day of our trip round Malaysia.
We left Port Dickson to head up north home. Myred left us at Dengkil R&R stop bound for Kuala Lumpur. Till the next ride, Sir.

Rice fields along both sides of the road

The Perak river - the second longest river in peninsular Malaysia

The slight push and it might topple

Fastoman and myself then continued to Lumut town, the town opposite of Pangkor Island : http://www.pangkor.com.my

Seems to be a populor stop for yatchers

This is where the rain kept coming and going.

We visited Kuala Kangsar ( where we started this trip), we didn't dismount our iron horses because we were still soaking wet

Kuala Kangsar mosque

We parted ways home with me furthest north. Distance done was 510 km. It was a nice trip and hope everyone tuned shared and enjoyed our trip. Cheers.
