My 2008 Versys

Just got it a week ago from private party. 10K miles. I love it!!
Using it for daily commute in Seattle, WA area (yes - in the rain!)

Previous owner had modified the following:

- Custom leather saddle from Rich’s Seats
- Continental Road Attack tires installed at 4,195 miles
- Stainless steel braided brake lines front and rear
- Ermax rear wheel hugger
- Fender eliminator/turn signal/license plate frame kit

Looks great! I also like how all of the silver painted plastic pieces are painted black and the black wheels. Those are things I would like to do to my 08 V. The seat looks comfy to.

Thanks all! Actually I found out that the wheels and the pieces are not painted black - they are replaced with OEM black versions. Pretty sweet

Looks Good! Makes the red bike look not so dorf-y.

I'm waiting for someone to completely stealth one. Maybe a 2010. Sorry, black looks better on ANY Versys that has silver on it. IMHO (unless you're a Gurl! Ha Ha Ha)

Can't stand the blue one, plus they're the slowest!

Yeah, I have a Green '09 and waited a while so I could get a good deal on it.

Maybe next winter I'll pull it apart and powdercoat everything black (except the tank, rear spring and body work)

Nice job on your bike!

V-Zee

(Oh, don't get all pi**y about the color of your bike, I'm kidding)

Bike looks great. How about some closeups of the seat, maybe with a quick review?

I can't take credit for any of the modifications - previous owner did all that
But I'll be happy to take some saddle closeups! Stay tuned... (I like it - but then again - I never tried the stock saddle so I have no basis for comparison)
