Riding 2 up Roanoke to Charleston with a few stops in between

Just got back from a great ride. Hometown of Roanoke, first stop was Williamsburg, then to the Outer Banks, 2 ferry rides south, Willmington N.C, on to Myrtle beach then final stop Charleston S.C. Rode 17 south down the coast. great road, not a hint of rain . Bike performed flawlessly, only issue was my Belstaf boots had a sole failure. We rode 2 up, stock seat but used a beaded seat cover which works great. 1300 miles over 9 days.

Awesome! You just reminded me of my recent trip 2 up with my wife in Europe...
I am working on a DIY seat mod and surprised that your stock seat with the beads did well...my wife complained about the passenger seat shape and the pain it causes to her after only 45min of drive....

I have a seat concepts foam kit , but my girlfriend actually prefers the stock one. I've tried airhawk cushions, reshaping the stock foam, but I find that a wooden bead cover does the best, she agrees.. it prevents numb butt and allows an air gap between you and the seat. like stated, we rode on a stock seat, beaded cover, only change I made was to raise the front seat bracket. I posted a how-to on it a few years ago

My daughter lives in Mt Pleasant. I'm heading there soon. Nice ride for anyone.
