Old stuff

I like old stuff. Maybe because I'm getting to be old stuff myself. I can relate.
Anyway I passed this old Jeep parked on a dirt road, a CJ5 I think. It looks like it was set up for quail hunting. Had a similar rig myself back in the 80's.

Later on I stopped by an old planked one lane bridge. Quite a few of these
in SW Fla. There are even some curves on this road.

I had a 1980 CJ5, way back when. I loved that thing. We put it through some rough stuff & it was like a timex, took a lickin' & kept on tickin'. I get a hankerin' for a jeep now & again, but I think the summers would be brutal here. I like my air conditioning when I'm driving.

Air conditioning? Nothing like the Tx heat on the way home from work.

Yeah they are fun vehicles. Mine would quit once in a while if I drove it in a hard rain or in deep water. When that happened I would hose the distributor down with WD40 and that four bagger would fire up and off we would go.
