Great Trip report!

Thanks for taking the time and effort to post your trip! Many of us will never get the opportunity to make trips like yours, however, we can still get enjoyment and knowledge from your adventure! Thanks again.

Must have been a great ride! I wish I could experience that as well but there is nobody to ride with and also work gets in the way. I could only manage a day's ride. Where did you get that addition to your front end?

Great story and images! Love the iceberg. Lucky you noticed that missing bolt...could have been messy.

Adding to my bucket list.

I meant your bike and Jo's. NOW I'm realizing you two are New Brunswickers, and I think AB and NB plates are very similar colors.

I would like to fabricate a filler like (maybe a slimmer one) that for my 09 V, it improved the front very nicely. How did you make it? Did you use a mold?

The Trans Labrador is on my to do list. Thanks for posting. Possibly doing a ride to Moncton/Point-du-Chene this year from eastern Ontario.

It's the US version of the British "Canberra" bomber, w/ longer wings, etc for high altitude reconnaissance, called the B-57 in the USAF.

NOVA Weekend Rides
Thanks jdrocks! I will try to join them one of these days. I have my friend's 2008 KLR 650 parked in my garage that has not run in 2 years because he is now on regular dialysis due to kidney failure. I was planning to clean the carburetor and register the moto under my name so that he can ride when he can. (I will use it also from time to time )

Great write-up, thanks very much.

"they said they were from New York. But for some reason the plates are a different color"

New York switched back to 1970's blue and gold about six or seven years ago, so we are starting to see more of those plates.

Thanks,
Mike

Sweet!

Today it's snowing and FREAKING cold. Perfect timing to view a Versys tour video. Nice job.
