Last Saturday I rode down to Oregon via Cayuse and White Passes
at a road construction site the flagger waved me to the front. Good thing, I would have passed all those cars and this saved me time.
down in the Columbia gorge the wind turbines were at work
the wind was from the east on this day blowing me down the Washington side of the Columbia. A much nicer two lane twisty than Interstate 84 on the Oregon side
over in the Hood River valley I rode on for a view of Mt Hood. There are a lot of apple orchards and various fruit in this area
later I went out again with a relative and his new Harley
the Versys worked for me very well on this trip
I headed back Monday and it was Hot. On the Washington side I headed up Hwy 142 from Lyle to Goldendale a real fun twisty by way
this section was signed "No Center Stripe"
back on Hwy 97 headed north more road construction. I rode to the front of the line and the flagger said she didn't care.
I covered 761 miles on this ride and really enjoyed the Versys
