The tulip festival opened Saturday and the tulips are starting to show.

We have to wait for another month before 'our' tulips will bloom.

Can't wait before our national flower will color the fields in different colors...

I hope you add some photo's when that happens . They certainly are beautiful. That's where ours
came from and there is a story about us sending bulbs back to Holland when some sort of diease struck.
Here's one more.

Pretty spectacular! It's much too dry around here for our signature flower - the Texas Bluebonnet - to do anything more than struggle mightily just to pop out of the ground. Too bad because in a good year they're also pretty spectacular.

Now a question or two about your bike. What brand are the soft (or semi-soft?) side cases? Not certain I can make out the name - Moore Racing? Very nice looking.

Secondly, what's the reddish looking rectangle at the center of the handle bars? GPS perhaps? Whatever it might be, how did you securely mount it? General curiosity question that.

Thanks the flowers are spectacular along with the crowds that come to see them . They are Moose Racing side bags, double zipper, fairly water proof, I sprayed them heavily with a water proofing agent, and they have a rubber flap with the outside zipper. The red case is an aluminum wallet attached with a large square of Velcro also water proof, I keep my license/insurance paper in it.

Very nice and sure brings back memories. I used to rent an old farmhouse on McLean Rd. in Mt. Vernon when I was stationed at Whidbey Island. The house was surrounded by tulip fields.
