Photo Shoot!

So I had a choice today. Wash and detail my motorcycle, or ride said motorcycle.

Riding won out.

I brought along my camera gear for an impromptu photo shoot while I was at it.

Enjoy!

She's a beauty. What's her name? What did you use to bob her tail?

I drew a line with a sharpie and then used a coping saw. I then used a small file to smooth it out!

Very nice indeed. Sure doesn't look in need of detailing to me. Is that a reflective strip on the left side of the swingarm?

Yep.. if you look closely I have 3M red reflective tape all over my bike. Backs of the footpegs, swingarm over the black warning labels no one reads, etc.

When the choice is clean or ride, choose ride.

YOU NEED A LITTLE BETTER BACK ROUND SCENERY FOR A PHOTO SHOOT NEXT TIME.

Your link doesn't work. My Versys mainly gets ridden in a city, so the parking garage is fitting for it. The background in the later pictures is actually that of an outdoor amphitheater that I shouldn't have driven on. I tried getting it up on the stage, but the ramp had too sharp of a turn. (You can see the ramp in the 4th picture)

The driving lights were $9 from some cheap Chinese ebay seller. They don't put out much light, but they do a good job of letting oncoming motorist know that I'm not a car with one headlight out.
