Up to the Park Today
Me and my buddy Mark did 200+ miles today. Went up to Kings Canyon National Park and all the way to the end of the road at Cedar Grove. The south fork of the Kings River runs right thru the area. The place is like a little Yosemite Valley with vertical rock faces, water falls, wild flowers and wildlife, but don't forget the GIANT Red Woods. We stopped at General Grant on the way out. General Grant is the 2nd largest tree in the entire world. It's almost as old as me at 1700 years.
Mark was on his brand new KTM. Second ride after picking it up yesterday. It performed flawlessly and I was on my trusty V-650.
The weather was perfect with temps in the mid 50's in the park and mid 80's on the way home.
