Plus 30C for a week around the mountains here means lightning and fires. The weather here has been pretty tame this summer but the last few have been droughts with choking smoky "air" everywhere. Its kind of no win, rain is good in that heat but brings lightning strikes which starts fires in remote and hard to get to places.

Did that ride back in late June, also went up the Cascade River road to hike the Sahalee Arm. Went back home thru Darrington and Oso. Stunningly beautiful ride.

So cool! Just got a Versys 300, based in Seattle, and can't wait to stretch its legs throughout WA and beyond. What was the total round trip time for you, Sedro?

Beautiful pics. Lovely area.

Looks like your riding buddy has an FZ07. Those are a great bike but a little on the small side.

I had a 2014 FZ09 rocket ship. Rode it for 24k miles.

How do you post your pics with the frame around them?

Cookin Wid Gas

2015 V-650 of course it's green...it's a Kazawalski.

Photoshop Elements makes the frame possible. The FZ07 is a great bike, he's about 5' 5". Almost to short for me but
I'm shrinking!
