First real ride of the year!

Gravel Eddie and I had a nice ride yesterday. It was perfect riding weather for the first time in forever.

The water was really flowing at the Little Falls Dam northwest of Spokane.

Does the sheepskin on the seat help with comfort? I normally commute and don't have any butt soreness, but on rides over a few hours, it starts to get pretty sore back there. I was considering an Airhawk for those random longer rides, but I'm interested in your thoughts on the sheepskin. Right now I'm not riding longer rides enough to justify a new seat.

I don't care what you ride, just ride.

I think it helps. I bought it several years ago for my C10 Connie that had a very firm Corbin seat.
I think that was a better combination in general but between the sheepskin and front bracket mod the stock Versys is becoming more tolerable.

Great stuff. I rented a bike when I was in Portland and lucked out with the weather. The locals told me that riding in PNW can be challenging with the cold wet weather.
