So a Harley, Victory, and Kawasaki Rider Enter a Bar

I only wish that I had the punchline sorted out. Y'all feel free to inject your witty sense of humor. We departed the West Valley. To meet another fellow rider near Fort McDowell Casino. From there we continued on the 87 towards Payson. Then turned onto the 188 and made our way through Tonto National Forest and past Lake Roosevelt. But we stopped at Jakes Corner Bar for a little coffee break. As we needed a warm up. Before making our way to Globe and down the 60 through Superior. Then back to Goodyear. 245 miles on the odometer today. Here is a pic of the bar. Plus a snapshot of the route. I need to purchase a camera to either mount on the bars or helmet. As i missed some stellar photo opps today.

It's been swell, but the swelling has gone down.

That looks familiar.

One riding buddy has a Harley and another has a Victory. Both are the low slung cruiser tyres.

2015 V-650 of course it's green...it's a Kazawalski.

1. a monument to Al Sieber just N of the Rainbow Bridge, E side of 188;
2. 288 NE (to Young) a few miles past the Rainbow Bridge - GREAT ride up to the end of the pavement (25 miles?);
3. the "VIEW" sign a few miles S (on 188) of the Rainbow Bridge, W side of 188 - shows the "cliff dwellings" from the Tonto Monument; and
4. several miles BEFORE the tunnel on 60 near Superior - a "stone fence" on the hill, N side, probably quite old.

GOOD to see you venturing out here!

When is the weather going to warm up down there? If I'm going to leave above freezing temps here I want some above 80 temp to go to.

So a Harley, Victory, and Kawasaki Rider Enter a Bar. The guys walk in and this gruff looking bartender looks out the window and says "Gentleman, which of you is on that small, green, motorcycle?" The Kawasaki rider says a little meekly, "that would be me sir". The bartender says, "Well then all of your personal drinks tonight are on me!!, your buddies gotta pay for their own".

Forty years away from 2 wheel fun. Sure is great to be back smelling the roses!!!

Wait 30 more days. If you come down here in March or April I guarantee there is a chance you might never go back.
PS: We all ride on those terrible 60 and 70 degree days, we just start later and wear our leathers.

Got in a run for lunch on Saturday since the temps got into the mid 40s. I was the leader on my Road Glide Special. The other bikes in the group were R1100GS, Concours 14, and a Honda Magna last year of production. '99?

We pulled into the steak house the other three had to order coffee to warm up their hands and insides. I with my heated Corbin seat, heated grips and heated vest was doing fine. They were impressed at how the Harley handled the curves. I told them the bike is capable, it is the rider that generally chooses Harley that is not.

I like it! But I actually picked up the tab for the boys.

It's been swell, but the swelling has gone down.

Hopefully you're correct.....I planned on heading south leaving in February/March and making a loop (OK,TX, NM, AZ, UT, and home)with my toy hauler (bike in the back). I should be back mid-May.
