In the heat of tthe day....

we rode away, with burgers to pursue. Darrington was the goal,
reach it we did, down the gullet they slid, and away we did go.
530 to Concrete Sauk Valley RD we rode, onto the South Skagit
Hwy where it was cool, makeing breeze with our tool's and the
ride did finish with out a blemish, good day and the pic's for you...

Ahhhh, the South Skagit Hwy.......always a cool ride. Literally with all the shade along the river.

Yea,ive been eying that trip for a while.Looking for a day trip around there,cross the border.,go to Artists point and then make a loop to Darrington back to Van.What is the S.Skagit highway like,paved?Done the Cascades loop a few times,we riders here are lucky!Very majestic motorcycling...

The South Skagit Hwy is curvy, shady and paved, a less traveled roadway nice to ride. I think of the first part, Concrete Sauk Valley Rd., the curviest part, as the S. Skagit Hwy. That road has more straight parts. Did you know that the Skagit River is the 3rd largest river on the
west coast of the U.S.?
