1st picture out in the wild

First picture of my Versys out in the wild, I went riding around the Valley of Fire Nevada State Park on Saturday.

Looks like a photo from a bike mag.

Nice looking photo but it can't be a "bike mag" photo because it has dirt on the tires.
How they keep the tires clean while riding in the dirt is a mystery to me.

Awesome bike / location / photo!

Might I ask what camera you used for the shot?

Thanks everyone. I'm not happy with the photo but it is ok for a snapshot.

I shot it with my Nikon D700 and a 28-75mm lens @ f/2.8 -1/1600 sec-200 ISO. I was out at the Valley of Fire scouting locations for shooting a 3D project / testing my 3D camera. I decided that I needed to get out the D700 and take a few pictures of the bike since I had not got any yet.

If anyone likes anaglyph photos and owns a pair of red/blue old style 3D glasses you can check 3 of the test shots I took.

I got into 3D stuff back in the '90s when I used a friend's Realist camera. I have several old stereoscopic cards as well as a pretty good collection of VueMaster stuff including some of the first reels produced, the early viewers and a fully functional VueMaster projector. Ahh...those were the days!

I'll have to find my glasses so I can see your 3Ds.

Thanks

I use that flickr account to test how photos look when posted on the internet most of those are test shots.
