Some Nice Nova Scotia Roads

Just some pictures of a few nice roads I rode this summer in Nova Scotia. I may have went a little overboard with the HDR on some of them

Right now user quotas are set to 500MB. The website is a work in progress. If you decide to check it out, any feedback would be appreciated.

Great pictures. What road is that? Just curious how you did the color tone enhancement.

Just an opinion - I think your digital "burn-in" on the skies looks a bit overdone.

Hey Twowheels, Those are different roads from around here. Some are in the New Glasgow area and others are closer to home. The tone effect is done by using HDR Photography. Basically you take three pictures of the same scene, one over exposed, one under exposed and one exposed normally. Then, by using software you combine the three images into one image. There are tons of websites on the subject. Just search google for HDR (High Dynamic Range) Photography.

Hey fasteddie, I agree. As I stated in my orginal post, "I went a little overboard" with the HDR settings. I was still trying to figure it out at the time.
